This carpet is a wonder: replete in warm shades of red, orange, pink and complemented by a faded yellow lozenge pattern that gently radiates through the composition. Different lengths and textures of blue, green, turquoise, beige, and red yarn are knotted to create a floating assemblage of geometric shapes, such as an octagram, a large diamond, and smaller rectangles.
In good condition, with an uneven, slightly coarse pile (longer in some areas and shorter in others) with some fraying at the edges.
