A blue and bright red checkerboard is filled with intricate and graphic zigzags, lozenges, herringbone, and other motifs, with small amounts of black, yellow, green, and salmon threads added to the palette. The final effect is geometric but playful and certainly emanates a very personal joie de vivre.
In very good condition. The blue has bled into the cream background over the years, giving this piece a more nuanced appearance.
